I agree with Janicholson & D Slater--wise men.
Yes, the creation of water is due to the combination or atoms that already existed--hydrogen from the fuel & oxygen from the atmosphere. This action can also be applied to another part of the combustion process. We extract millions of barrels of oil from the earth each day and burn it in many different ways all around the globe. The hydrogen atoms from the oil combine with oxygen to become water vapor, and the carbon atoms, I wonder what ever becomes of them? That oil with all of its carbon atom was securely sequestered within the earth for thousands of years and we are now releasing it in a very short time frame. Millions of barrels each day.
Here is something that I read a few days ago on another site that can be applied to global warming denial. "It is difficult to get someone to understand something when their income depends directly on not understanding it"
For what it is worth--I am a hypocrite too. I burn plenty of fuel and do very little to change my ways. I am very good at "looking the other way" on the global warming issue. Just sayin.....
