Yes, and I go to auctions all the time too and watch the same mowers sell. I really don't see your point. There are a lot of variables that can affect auction price. The prices I related are what I paid and what I saw. I also look to relative value and I stand by my opinion there also. At $1000 for a 1950's era sickle mower I would be looking at another brand or upgrading to a mower/conditioner. I have seen a few IH 990's sell for just over $1000. I paid $550 for my 990. Needed $100 worth of work from the mobile welder and I replaced the knife for less than $200. Otherwise it was good. Going on three years now with it. If you really want an IH 100 mower I will sell you mine. Just give me what I paid for it and, since you insist it is worth it, throw in another nine Franklins. You will have proven your point and I won't mind because I will have made ten times my money.
