Whenever the radiator is removed and installed I like to mount them and grill, leave the hose clamps and bottom mounts loose. Measure the hood both sides, then move the radiator as to get close to the hood measurements from where hood rests on tank to grill. If its good on measurements at top and bottom check for steering shaft and shroud clearance and if good adjust the top support to the correct distance. Sometimes things don't work out and you compromise. Or do some modifications. No adjustment on the fuel tanks unless other work is done. If hood gap is closer near bottom or top of tank end needed can be spaced up a little.
