Some I have had apart just slid off, some took a lot of misery and aggravation to remove. You can take out the bolts whose heads are showing in your photo and the whole front carrier and input shaft gear assembly will come off the tractor. I assume you'll have to remove this anyway to replace any gears. Once it is out you can drive the shaft out of the coupling by supporting the coupling ears and leaving the rest of the unit hanging. This would be best done over a padded surface or with only an inch or two for the unit to drop when it comes loose. Zach
