Short question, even an inadequate answer is long.
First off, way back there was a "Harvester Cream" color (290-D) that was definitely a cream color, very far from white. In late '56, it was replaced with 233 white. Over the years, there have been several changes to the white. None of them were close to the white you find on a refrigerator. They were more towards cream, maybe a little greenish, yellowish etc. With time they all seemed to fade towards each other. A rattle can of Krylon antique white seems to me a lot closer to all of them that some of what I have seen used in restorations.
