Yes it is. IH used to have another product called "IH Torque Amplifier Transmission Lubricant Additive". It was mixed at one quart to 4 gallons of 10W motor oil. That product is no longer sold and was replaced with Hy-Tran. For specific recommendations on what to use on any given tractor, see your owners manual or check with IH dealer. He will probably tell you to use Hy-Tran in everything but the radiator and your coffee mug.
