Butyl Cellosolve. That is what IH recommended for cleaning up 300/400 series engines that had suffered engine oil cooler failures. Mix 50/50 with 30 weight engine oil and run for an hour no load making sure it reaches operating temperature. To clean the cooling system use automatic dish washer soap.
Butyl Cellosolve is (or was) one of the ingredients of Rislone engine cleaner. Chrysler also had an engine flush that contained it but the last time I checked with a dealer the parts man had no clue as to what I was asking about.
