I don't know why anyone would would want to mid mount the snowplow blade. I did that once and it was totally useless, use a little down pressure, and by by traction. I use it front mounted to plow snow and do some grading, works great. Of course I put a chain around the plow and floppy hookup so that I have direct control. Used it like that for a couple of decades.
