we had a pressure digger with a uc-301 power unit that ran good until the shop tuned it up for the next job ,it started good and would rev up o.k. but would start skipping when loaded,field mechanic checked it out and came back with a set of Echlin points and condenser,installed them end of problems, I asked what made him suspect the points he said when I saw how I was doing and found it had blue streak points I realized it was doing the same thing as the new model Pontiac at that time had done with a mechanic at the dealer he had work for, about a day of no results until he replace the points again with another brand it left the shop squealing the tires
