I'm not experienced with the manual lift but I do have the hydraulic lift operating an L59. Very simple. Just a piece of chain between the a lift arm and the mower deck. I only use two positions, up and down (slack chain). The wheels on the deck set the mow height. If your cultivator lift point is anywhere in the vicinity of the right side just below the gas tank it should work. You may be looking for the "official,correct" way this is set up. That I do not know.
