I understand the IH accountants in 1950 wanted painting simplified down to all red, doesn't mean there isn't a more attractive way. I have my fan shroud, my exhaust manifold, a few other items aluminum-colored, my carb and starter body black, the connector tube between carb and governor aluminum, and a few others. have a small chromed rear view mirror. Looks much beter.
