The IHC 1940 Catalogue (Wisconsin Historical Society web site) shows the early Farmall, A,B,H and M with the molded foam rubber covered seats (all dark looking compared with other tractor colours. i.e. likely black). The 1949 IH catalogue shows all wheeled tractors with dark coloured seats (i.e. not silver). It is a pity that these catalogues were not in colour but non of the seats shown were of a light colour.
