I have a friend about 80 miles south of St. Louis that has 2 old IH trucks that belonged to his Dad he wants to sell to get some room. One is a 1940 18 foot flat bed with 6Cyl. Continental engine, motor is free, truck looks pretty decent, only a little rust.
the second is a 1952 that currently has a dump bed on it, but has an Air Force property tag on the dash stating it originally had a platform bed with sides.
Can anyone help on what is a reasonable price for them? I mentioned Red Power, which is only a couple hundred miles away this summer, but he did not want to load and haul them that far and hang around to 2 or 3 days waiting to see if they might sell. My email is ejpuckett@centurytel.net if anyone has any questions.

The answer to our needs materialized in the form of a '44 Farmall A, complete with cultivators, discs, single plow, a 5ft.Woods belly mower and one, mounted spare 9.00x24 rear wheel.
