The turbo on the 1086 is leaking oil internally. It's the second turbo on this tractor and it's done well. There's probably 10000 hours on it so I have no complaints, the factory turbo that this one replaced started leaking at 5000 hours. When I put this turbo on I got it from IH but that was many years ago. I have no qualms about going to CIH for the new one but I just thought I'd ask you guys with more experience than me if there is another choice out there besides CIH. I'm not looking for cheap, I'm not looking for high performance, this tractor has plenty of HP for the light work it's required to do. I'm just curious if there is some other good, high quality source out there besides CIH. Jim
