You should have at least a 12 gauge wire to "each" glow plug.I use an 8 gauge wire to feed two 10 gauge parallel legs that feed three glow plugs each.This tractor will easily start in 15-20 degree temps after a minute of glow plug time.Make sure all your glow plugs are working too.Does your tractor start ok after using glow plugs?Sounds like you should carefully inspect the whole circuit,and renew or update if necessary.
