Your right,I used 8 gauge wire when rewiring my 656.My bad.Relay much better than factory wiring.My 656 wiring diagram shows glow plug circuit picks up power from battery via the large terminal on starter solenoid from there through a 7 pin connector then to a junction block,from there to glow plug meter then through switch and back through 7 pin connector,then to another junction block where it splits into two parallel legs to glow plugs.Thats a long run of wire with many connections,lotsa potential for resistance in that circuit.I"m assuming the 706 is the same.Thank's
