Using the TA is a good idea. when not used, the ramp and rollers are spinning and can develop flat spots (thus wear) it just a tool. and using it has two rules. shift it fast in or out, about as fast as you can move the lever full stroke. The second rule is never let it coast (freewheel lever back) faster than direct drive would go in that gear. the ta unit can over speed and be destroyed. We have a 8000hr 350Uwith the original TA and TA clutches. Jim
