I got a B-275 revived over the summer after it was sitting for 9 years. Everything is running great now and I would like to change the fuel filter. I know it hasn't been changed in 20+ years. I don't have much experience with diesel engines. I believe I have the later (maybe?) style pump as the pump in the service manual I have doesn't look the same. I guess mainly I need help on how to bleed the fuel system afterwards. The manual primer is on the opposite side of the engine than my pump on my tractor. When I push down on the primer I don't feel any "resistance." Does this mean it isn't working or can you not tell unless you have the lines off? I don't want to replace the filter on a perfectly fine running tractor and not be able to purge the system because the manual primer doesn't work.
