Not an expert, I have several parts tractors and when I get stumped and am not sure of the cause of a problem I swap part off of a tractor that does run correctly , what I am saying if you have doubt ask if anyone is close and willing to help , loan a part or an ear , I live in louisiana , others maybe closer . If you get your 340 running like New it will almost plow with a 460 , light on the front but an enormous heart , it is less horse power than the 460 , but really shocked me .
