Neal, starting technique wise, try 2 or 3 revolutions with choke, then crank with no choke. After it starts you might have to play with the choke to keep it running for the first minute or so. Personally my preference is 12 volt. Rear end noise wise, I find that unusual in an H. They are usually pretty quiet. I recommend you drain the old 90W. Capacity is 6 GALLONS. Don't forget the plug on the front end which is underneath the plate that covers the countershaft which runs the belly pump. Also as a technique if you have a belt pulley, unbolt the face and tap it out a 1/4 inch. The belt pulley assembly is designed to hold around a quart of 90W slung from the transmission. It is also a big trap for condensation. You'll get some water when you drain it.
