Worked on a Lowboy yesterday for a fellow. 6 volt system, strong battery, spins fast, but very week spark. I got it to fire off using a 12 volt jump with the 6 volt battery disconnected. He had put in new points, condenser. The coil he bought was a round can coil, but does not say if it is 6 or 12. No name on the coil. If it is 12, would that make the spark weak on a 6 volt system? Also, on a positive ground system, does the hot wire from the switch go to the + or - on the coil? Thanks, Richard in NW SC
