I did find something worth checking in the loader manual. It says to hook the hydraulic line to the front port of the valve. It's currently hooked to the rear port. I don't see where that would make a difference, but I'll swap and try it. That change will also make operating counterintuitive to me since I'll now be pushing the lever forward to raise.
