If it were me I would pry the emblems off of it and take the rest of it to the scrap yard. Even if it is still working it will really suck the juice. Of course a modern unit will only last about ten years whereas the IH unit is probably 50 years old. They don't last forever though. Even if it is still working it is probably on borrowed time.
