Proper way to adj ta clutch. Adj main clutch so it has the right free play on farmalls if you can put thump between the peddle and deck stop you got enough free peddle then hold main clutch at the free peddle position and move TA lever back to the TA position till you feel the TA lever meet resistance the short link between the main and TA clutch should come tight then if not shorten then drive tractor if hard to shift shorten short link a little more. on the utilities or internationals you need a measurement for each tractor from a manual from foot rest to peddle when peddle is held down to touch the fingers on the clutch
