Cowman, I measured the rear half that attaches to the hay rake this morning with an accurate caliper and the male shaft on that assembly measures .750" X .875" within a .001". The outer shield measures 1.750" on the OD with a wall thickness of approx. .0575" as I got several other measurements in various places around the circumference between .055" and .060". The front part I am needing would be the female end in which the above male 3/4" X 7/8" shaft would fit into. Let me know if you have anything in your stockpile that we could make work for this restoration. I will advise if I find anything in the NOS world as well. Thanks for supporting this project, Hal.
