The little inspection cover will get you in by the clutch. As harry mentioned if its black, its engine oil. If it is red in color it will be your hyd oil. If it would happen to by hyd oil, the cause would be the seals on the pto input shaft. A lot of times the bearing on the shaft wares in to the cage that holds it onto the front of the TA housing, letting it "flop" around. Either way engine or hyd oil, tractor will need to be split.
