It may be hard to maintain fall without a low point using a rubber hose. I have tried rubber but converted to steel as soon as it became obvious that the up draft carburetor would not work well without a dependable fuel supply. I have made several fuel lines from new break line stock and they have worked just fine. Original equipment was not copper but steel for the letter series.
