Ok, so I finally got my H running over the weekend. After having it sit for 6+ months while doing minor work, replacing most of the ignition system, etc. It's running, mostly.
The problem I'm having, that it seems like a lot of others have (or have had), is that the carb leaks out of the weep hole. The carb was fully rebuilt and the float is good. I initially adjusted the float as recommended, but it kept leaking. I adjusted it higher and the leak largely stopped.
That being said, I know that these tractors dont need to be choked, and when the choke is applied (as a test when I was trying to get it running), a lot of fuel comes out. If the choke is wide open and the air filter disconnected, I get no fuel leak. The moment I put the air filter tube on the carb and start it up, it starts leaking again, almost like it was being choked.
Maybe the issue is the air filter? I cleaned the whole unit and replaced the oil in the cup with SAE30. Any suggestions? I was going to try raising the float even higher to see if maybe that is the issue.
