I was very nervous about doing this but it was not to bad and I consider myself only a marginal mechanic. My 78 year old dad and I had it apart in about an hour.Good time to check clutch and ring gear, throw out bearing and the like. I have read on here where people have by mistake or from hydraulic pump leaking into the crankcase overfilled their crank case with oil and caused the rear main to leak. I think when the oil level is corrected after a time that kind of leak will most often stop on it's own. Just a few things to consider.
