Hi Diana, Well for another $200 you can get a 12v winch that will do 2000lbs single line and 4000lbs with a snatch block double line, run the controls inside the truck with another set on the bumper so you can orperate them from outside while hooking up the bale. Northern Tools has them. A 4wd pick-up has alot of options for a homemade kinda person. Take a flat bed with a A-frame on the bed close to the cab, add a winch, some ramps that go from the bed to the ground, winch the bale on the flatbed, move it where you want, run your winch cable thru and snatch block hooked to the rear of the bed, and pull the bale off the bed. The A-frame lays flat when not in use. Unlimted uses. T_Bone
