I just picked up an IH flat rate manual for farmall A,AV,B,BN dated 1942 in very good condition. I was interested in how long some of the repairs on my A were listed but the book only lists the labor charge not the hours. Such as remove and replace clutch $4.40,Engine overhaul $36.40, Clean and paint tractor $9.50. I wish I knew what the labor rate per hour was. Any body know what the rate would have been per hour in 1942?
