Seats inside the steering arm: from the driver's position, the left hand, stationary, single-cup, non-adjustable, seat #57 874 D, is thicker than the right-hand, single-cup, adjustable seat #57 875 D. The seat in the middle, #57 873 D has cups on both sides. The steering arm adjustable seat is the same adjustable seat used in the tie-rod ends. The stationary tie-rod seat is #43 468 D. This seat is thinner than the stationary seat in the steering arm. All this applies to the older version tie-rods with balls forged on the end of the rods. Mine had been welded up and ground to shape at least two times. I cut the balls off and replaced them with 1" dia. ball bearings welded on.
