806 brake locked?

Has anyone had experience with a brake locking up after the tractor has sat for about a month?Left brake was locked and wouldn't release in forward or reverse.After the tractor moved about a foot or so forward skidding the tire it let loose with a heck of a noise.The brake is working normally now,it still has that growl however that it's always had.Thanks for any info or tips. Pat in Wisc.
