The wOODS 59 will work great but remember its for mowing lawns as it is a finish mower where you only cut 2-3in at most it is not a 'BUSH HOG'. Hundreds of them are in use and owners all seem to b e happy. My Woods has been in operation for many yrs keep belts tight and use sharp blades and use the grease gun it will out last you. Your Cub probably needs fresh gas if it was setting for a long time without being ran mite need a good cleaning. Check the gas tank to see if its still nice and clean.
