The finger height is 1-1/4" measured from the flat steel plate that makes up the "core" of the pressure plate, straight up to where the finger would rub on the throwout bearing.
Free pedal play is 1" and I think your Cub is new enough that it can be adjusted by loosening the bolt at the base of the clutch pedal. Real early Cubs had the free pedal adjustment INSIDE the torque tube. You had to adjust it through that little hand hole, which is just about impossible.
