Does your carb have an electric valve on the bottom of the carb? This valve shuts off gas flow. You can remove it and with the wire hooked up turn the switch on and off, the valve should move in and out. Many of these valves were removed. If you let your tractor idle a while before shutting off tractor this will help your problem.
