I have an early model IH 464I - the tractor had been sitting for about 2yrs. before I got it . I got it running and have had rebuild the hydro pump and get the clutch unstuck . The tractor ran fine for a while but started running like crap . We installed new - plugs, points, rotor button, cap, fuel pump , with a inline filter, fuel sensor mounted on the bottom side of the carb.
Now I can go and start the tractor and it will run fine with minimum choke for about 15-20 min. until it warmed up then it will start running like crap spitting , ideally up and down then cuts off . If I let it cool down it will start back up , until it gets warmed up .
If anyone has had issues like this , would like to hear your fix.
