Well you guys are correct again. The first local place I checked was $1,500 mounted which is where I experienced sticker shock because I have not bought these types of tires in the past. A second local place quoted $1,750. A third place less than 20 miles away quoted $1,145 per tire plus $95 per tube and a one time $65 charge for changing them at my farm. Grand total that is $5,025. Everyone quoted Firestone 18.4 R42 Radial All Traction. I am amazed these dealers are all within a 30 mile circle and there is this type of variance. I am not sure if I found the best deal out there but they get mounted on my tractor Thursday.
