If the loader is a one way lift (no down pressure, and only 2 hases to the lift cylinders) and if the loader has been slowly getting to this condition (lower lift height every time it is used) or has been sitting for a month raised up, and slowly dropped to the ground, the piston seal in one cylinder has begun leaking past the piston. The loader will try to lift a bit crooked. This causes the hydraulic fluid to be on the top of the piston and prevents the piston from moving (hydraulic lock). There should be vents on the top of each cylinder. Remove the vent, and put a hose in the vent port and in a clean bucket to prevent radical oil splashing. Slowly raise the loader to expell the oil. If the cylinder packing/seal is leaking very little, this will solve the problem for a while. (put the vent back in, and always lower the loader when stopped or parked) If it leaks dramatically the cylinder will need to be repaired or replaced. Repair should be much cheaper. Jim
