Keep in mind that a horsepower increase is a SMALL percentage. You are not going to get "a few HP", you will get a fraction of a HP increase, because you're only starting out with something like 16HP to begin with.
In doing some research, I found that long tube headers on an LS1 engine can add 15-20 HP, but remember that the engine already has over 300 to begin with. That's only a 5% gain.
Basically you're doing something similar with the 140 manifold, and you can optimistically expect 5%. 5% of 16HP is only .8HP. Odds are your tractor isn't putting out the full 16HP anymore though, and you probably won't get a full 5% because the manifold is not a long tube header.
For all the work and frustration it probably won't even be noticeable. Odds are good you'll twist off at least one manifold bolt, which you will then have to drill out.
