Hey Peachy, Your posts are fine, thats what these boards are for, to learn from these posts, and asking questions is the best way to do it. I'm 14 and find these places a great place to ask questions, or to help someone out. As an answer for your question, tractors are not meant for speed. the engines are built to deliver high torque(pulling power) at a low engine RPM.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
