The Hitachi 14231 12 volt alternator fits nicely on a Farmall H. Turn the generator bracket upside down and use the same belt and still have some adjustment left. Most H's work fine on 6 volt with 00 cable size and soldered terminals with the ground cable attached to one of the starter to frame mounting bolts if you want to keep the original system, Hal.
