A couple of comments from the peanut gallery- 1. Mine seems to frost up too but only in mildly cold weather. Real cold doesn't see to affect it. 2. I though I saw a picture of the factory heat shield in my M manual at home. If I find it I'll post again. It looks like one of those parts that somebody would loose their patience and throw it out in 100 degree weather when the float has stuck on the carb not realizing it's value in subzero weather. -Jim

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
