I've got a neighbor that has a '51 Cub with a FRONT mount blade. I've been impressed with what he can push with that little thing! He's got piles 3 to 4 feet high around his drive where he's pushed the snow up out of his way. The trick with that little tractor is to use the hydraulics to raise the blade as you move forward so you don't lose traction. It also helps if you have chains on it, and 300 to 400 pounds of weight on the back end is not a bad idea! You'll run out of traction long before you run out of power. We've pushed a lot of snow together over the years. I've got an 8' blade on the front of my M, and I shove the big piles. He cleans up what I miss and gets into the corners where I can't go!
