I just finished re assembling mine ( the same transmssion) and in the process replacing all the bearings and seals. Accept for the fact that it takes time and forethought and care to take the transmission all apart, one piece at a time and reassemble it in the correct order AFTER cleaning each piece, it is a job well done and one knows that all is in good order for many years to come; one will / may not have to disassemble it in ones life time; just check for oil level and to make certain that no moisture has formed on the oil. I would suggest going forward and do a full disassembly / parts replacement and re assembly. In the end one will KNOW that all is well. best to you. Wm.
