2424 temp guage

Seasons Greetings all! My 2424 ind. has A 6` central guage that incorperates a temp guage in the lower half. An option was A fuel guage in the upper half. Well, someone has cut off the lead for the guage, and brazed the fitting shut at the thermostat hsng. I thought I might substitute another guage inside the central unit, but I`d rather have the right one, and maybe A fuel guage too. Anyone know if this assy. is exclusive to 2424? Or how I might take care of it? Thanks in advance! J.
