I bought an A in 1975 that was stuck. I soaked the pistons with atf. It came with the 16-inch moldboard plow. Two of the pistons came using a piece of 2 x 2 oak and a big hammer. I used that piece of oak to drive out the wet sleeves. The last 2 the sleeves came with the pistons. I used an acetylene torch to heat the sleeves to free the stuck pistons. I used the old connecting rods with the new sleeve kit, back then it cost $80.00 and I pulled the engine and steam clean the block at work. I had the crankshaft polished as it wasn't worn much. I bought all the bearings from the auto machine shop. They were .002" undersize. I had the clutch disc relined to. It did a nice job plowing the garden.
I had to replace the front and rear rims, tires, fenders, wiring, steering wheel and seat. Hal PS: I paid $100.00 for the tractor and plow.
