There are numbers under the valve cover on top of the head, near the middle. Once I had one where they had been ground off, never did figure that one out. My H manual only shows kerosene, distillate and gasoline heads, their numbers are 6186, 8776 and 8043 respectively. I hope someone will be along who knows what to look for, but if it shows any of those numbers at least you will know it is not an LP head. That said, any head that is not cracked is likely worth well over $20. Zach
