Just below the spring and dome shaped plate on the shifter there are two metal plugs. Pull one out with a slide hammer or? to remove the pivot pin by driving it through the other plug. Remove the lever. If the pivot is worn replace it with a piece of grade 8 bolt shank, or buy a sloppy shifter repair kit from Ebay (recommended) If the rails in the trans are not aligned, push the clutch and move them with a big screw driver or small pry bar till they are aligned in neutral. The tip of the lever may also be worn. There are images in the archives of the tip with dimensions. Jim
