Have you got one of these laying around? These are for a ford truck I was told. The spline end is about 1 1/4". A little bit bigger towards the middle. The material is 4140 I was told, which is some very tuff stuff. A truck repair shop would probably have these in their scrap bin. Don't hurt to ask. If you lived closer, I'd give you one.
